All of our rooms are
equipped with queen sized beds, have private baths, and
are decorated with country antiques. We even have three
rooms that are furnished with two queen sized beds which
are frequently used by families or fishing buddies.
The Great Room is the center of activity for the Inn
with it s native stone fireplace, big screen TV, and
coffee and bottled water service area which are
available to our guests 24 hours a day. The room is
furnished with couches and comfortable chairs where
guests can relax enjoying conversation with your hosts -
Terry, Amabilia, & Ingrid Bryant - or reading one of the
books from our library.
In the fall of 1999 we
renovated the facility to accommodate a private
meeting/dining room that will comfortably seat 18 at one
table.
That room has been used
for family reunions, business meetings, fly fishing
schools, knitting camps, as well a private dinners for
our guests. The menus for these functions have varied
from a simple pork BBQ sandwich buffet to gourmet, five
course meals. We have lived in five countries and are
frequently asked to prepare something from the Caribbean
or Latin America and have always been able to
accommodate our guests requests.
Please visit our catering page for a brief list of
frequently requested items.
The Inn also features a large front porch and balcony
overlooking the city park across Main Street. Spring
Park is an ideal place for walking, jogging, or tennis.
In a shady setting, it has picnic tables, seven springs,
and on occasions live entertainment. The park is also
the site of various special events throughout the year.
For our corporate travelers the inn provides access to a
fax machine, PC's, and the Internet. We also use our
private dining room for business meetings and lunch and
dinner catering. Talk to us about reserving the entire
Inn for a business meeting, retreat, or reunion.
At the Anderson House Inn we
welcome our Bed and Breakfast
guests to a wonderful
alternative in lodging. Our 15
individual decorated guest
rooms, each with a private bath,
are furnished with handmade
quilts and country antiques. Our
rooms are air conditioned and
have ceiling fans and other
conveniences for your comfort.
Our Great Room is the central
focal point of the Inn. Our
guests are invited to relax in
front of the native stone
fireplace and enjoy conversation
while watching our large screen
TV with VCR or playing any of a
variety of board games. The
walls reflect our love for the
outdoors with several fish
prints and originals as well as
a few Glynda Turley outdoor
prints. You may decide to simply
curl up with a good book from
our library. For our business
travelers there is access to Fax
machines, personal computers,
and the Internet. Talk to us
about reserving the entire Inn
for business meetings, retreats,
or reunions. We organize fly
fishing schools, knitting group
getaways, cooking schools, as
well as acting as hosts for
various church groups. We are a
bed and breakfast but also cater
lunch, dinner, and appetizers
upon request.

for our guests to use tanning

Awaken to a new day and a cup of
fresh-brewed coffee or a
selections of teas. A delicious
full breakfast is served each
morning which may include fresh
fruit, muffins, scones, omelets,
egg soufflés, pancakes, waffles,
or my favorite, a southwestern
frittata. Guests may enjoy their
meal in the Great Room or a cozy
dining room. We will adjust our
breakfast schedule to try to
accommodate the needs of our
guests. Our fishing groups have
requested breakfast as early as
5:30 A.M. The atmosphere of the
