Meet your Hosts...
The Bryant's moved to
Heber Springs from Guatemala City, Guatemala, and
assumed management of the Anderson House in January
1998. The preceding year, Terry had been working on the
west coast managing a deluxe billfishing resort. During
that time he met and married his wife and daughter,
released 21 sailfish on fly, filmed an ESPN fishing show
"The Spanish Fly", and was exposed to an amazing,
ancient culture; the Mayan Indians.
Terry has worked in the hospitality industry for almost
20 years, mainly in Four Star resorts including the
Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman and the Don CeSar Beach
Resort and TradeWinds Resort in St. Petersburg Beach,
Florida. Nine years were spent in the Caribbean and
Latin America being exposed to the cultures and
inevitably the cuisines of many countries which fuelled
his passion for cooking. While at the Inn if you would
care to sample some Caribbean or Latin foods, just let
them know and it can be incorporated into your breakfast
or perhaps an evening appetizer. Amabilia makes the best
flour tortillas you'll ever taste.
The Bryant's love the outdoors including flyfishing,
golf, hiking, gardening, boating. They especially prize
being able to lean against a shade tree and watching
their dog, Chucho, and daughter Ingrid explore nature.
That is why they came to Heber Springs, it's a peaceful,
safe community with plenty of outdoor activities 12
months a year. A great place to relax and raise a
family.
Terry, Amabilia and Ingrid look forward to welcoming you
to their home at the Anderson House so you can sample
Southern hospitality with a little Latin flavor. |
